NIT Sikkim Courses and Fee Structure
The National Institute of Technology Sikkim, abbreviated as NIT Sikkim or NIT SKM, is one of the best public engineering and research institutions in the country. It is located near the city of Ravangla in Sikkim, India. It was established in 2010.
It is among the 31 National Institutes of Technology in India. The college is an autonomous Engineering Institute that is functioning under the aegis of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India and recognised as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India.
Currently, NIT Sikkim has nine functioning departments. The departments are Civil Engineering, CSE, ECE, EEE, Humanities, Mathematical, Mechanical, Physics and Biotechnology.
It offers 4-year long Bachelor of Technology or B.Tech programme in various engineering fields. Additionally, it offers 2-year duration long Master of Technology or M.Tech programmes in various sectors of Engineering and Technology. NIT Sikkim PhD is a three-year long programme offered in several spheres of Engineering.
