NIFT Kangra Scholarship

National Institute of Fashion Technology Kangra is one of the best institutes for studying Fashion. It provides great facility and environment to the students, who also get placement in renowned companies with handsome salary packages. However, this opportunity may not be available to the candidates who have a financial crisis. Keeping this in mind, NIFT has provided few scholarships to the financially struggling candidates via its NIFT development Fund.

NIFT scholarship Merit Financial Assistance Scheme is provided to the financially challenged candidates, which covers up to 50% of the tuition fees of the Post-Graduate students and up to 75% tuition fees for Undergraduate students.

Scholarship programme for UG candidates:

• 75% financial assistance provided to the candidates whose family income is below one lakh annually.
• 50% of financial aid is provided to the candidates whose family income varies between 1 lakh to 2.5 lakhs annually.
• 25% of financial support is given to the candidates whose family income is between 2.5 lakhs 4 lakhs.

Scholarship programme for PG candidates:

• 50% financial aid is provided to the candidates whose yearly family income is below one lakh.
• 25% financial support is given to the candidates whose yearly family income varies between one lakh to 2.5 lakhs.

Also, the students in NIFT can also get an educational loan from the bank at a very low-interest rate. The college has a student-support department that helps the students in this matter.
