National Institute of Fashion Technology Kangra in Himachal Pradesh is one of the well-established fashion educational centres in the country. It was founded back in 2009 with the main motive to search and develop the talents of the state of Himachal Pradesh thus contributing to the state’s textile segments and fashion industries. Since then, it helped several talents to achieve their dream with high grades, who have also received good placements in the industry.

NIFT Kangra serves students with a great environment to showcase their talents via practical explorations, presentation and group projects. This not only contributes towards the practical learning of a candidate but also develop their skills with a professional touch. The NIFT Kangra courses include Undergraduate degree with the specializations like Fashion Designing, Accessory Designing, Textile Design and Fashion Communication. Apart from that, it also offers a Bachelor of Fashion Technology in Apparel Production.

For Bachelors in FD, the candidate must have 10+2 certification from a recognised board while for B.F.Tech, the candidate requires 10+2 pass certificate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects from a recognised board.

The institute offers a B.Des course for a duration of four years, and for B.F.Tech, the duration is the same. NIFT fee structure is divided into eight semesters and for both the courses the amount is Rs. 11.35 Lakhs.
