National Institute of Fashion and Technology Kangra, Himachal Pradesh was established in 2009. NIFT Kangra address is in Talpura, Himachal Pradesh, and it is well connected with every part of India. Ever since it came into operation, it has provided successful placement to the candidates in several brands, textile industries and large scale production, technology and management, etc. Being of the lead in the fashion education industry, NIFT campus also maintains a posh environment.

NIFT campus Kangra is built on 26 acres land, providing candidates with all modern day equipment. The campus serves as a great environment for students and ensures better learning and development with the inclusion of all modern tools. Starting from the laboratories, which is well-equipment with technical devices for proper learning and experiments of students to the spacious resource centre, which is also very well stocked with necessary study materials and modern tools, NIFT Kangra has all the facilities a student  can ask for in her or his academic life. NIFT Kangra also offers internet facility throughout its campus, which is the most necessary requirement in every field.

There is a NIFT Library, which is stocked with national and international journals and several books. The books and the resources, in turn, help the students as well as the faculty members to complete their knowledge in several subjects.

NIFT is one of the best institutes in the country that take every necessary step to train students with the best techniques and skills. So that the candidates get the best guidance throughout their learning phase in the institute, they have provided campus counsellor. Plus it also has campus stationery where students can purchase their required equipment.

Besides, Kangra NIFT hostels are also provided. Important to note that, like most NIFTs, NIFT Kangra hostel is provided for the female students only. NIFT Kangra faculty members can also reside in these hostels and get benefitted with all the on-campus facilities.

Leisure activities of the candidates are also kept in mind for which, students get Full Flagged Gymnasium, indoor and outdoor sports, which includes a couple of badminton court, Kho-kho ground, two cricket practising pitches and table tennis area. Kangra NIFT campus also includes its own canteen where students can eat and enjoy their free time.
