IISER Mohali Result and Cutoff
Students seeking admission to the doctor level courses need to meet the basic eligibility criteria as mentioned in the IISER Mohali’s website. In order to secure admission to the Dual Degree, BS-MS programmes, candidates are required to appear for the JEE examination. Thus, IISER Mohali results and cut off is declared after JEE results are released. For the final selection process, both selective and cumulative scores are considered.
Admission to the doctoral level courses in various areas of specialization is granted on the basis of merit in qualifying examination followed by screening test and interview.
The candidates are shortlisted for interview based on the marks obtained in the qualifying exam. Those candidates who have obtained scores above the IISER Mohali cutoff marks move forward to the further selection process.
Otherwise, candidates need to appear for JEST examination for Physics or NBHM Masters or PhD scholarship for Mathematics to get admission in the doctoral level courses. Also, candidates with DST INSPIRE fellowship or KVPY scholarship, rank in IIT JAM for the chosen specialization can apply for the PhD course. However, all candidates should mention their merit in the above-mentioned exams in the application form.
