IISER Mohali Admission Process
Admissions to all the courses are done based on the marks obtained in the entrance examinations followed by the selection process. However, the candidates who meet IISER Mohali admission eligibility can apply for his or her preferred course at the institute. The application process starts from February to March and the academic session begins in the month of August.
IISER Mohali Admission Highlights
- The IISER Mohali eligibility for Undergraduate level BS-MS Dual Degree programme is, candidates are required to appear for the JEE Main examination or apply through KVPY Scheme. All applicants must have passed 10+2 with science stream from a recognised board to be eligible for the course.
- IISER Mohali admission for Doctoral level PhD courses is done based on the marks scored in University-based Entrance Examination followed by screening test and personal interview round. All applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Science in relevant stream with a minimum of 60% aggregate or CGPA of 6.0 on a scale of 10 to be eligible to apply for the course.
- For admission to the Doctoral level Integrated PhD programmes, candidates are selected on the basis of marks scored in University-based Entrance Examination followed by screening test and personal interview round. All applicants should have a Master’s degree or B.Tech or MBBS or M.Tech in a relevant discipline to be eligible to apply for the course.
- Candidates having a valid score in GATE examination, CSIR or UGC-NET or JESTor NBHM-JRF or JGEEBILS (TIFR/NCBS) or GPAT or ICMR-JRF or DBT-JRF for DST-INSPIRE are also eligible for admission in the course of PhD.
