IISER Mohali Campus Facilities

IISER Mohali address is in Knowledge city, Sector 81, SAS Nagar in Mohali. Initially, the institute was functioning from its transit campus in Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration Chandigarh.

After that, it has shifted to its permanent campus in The Knowledge City in 2010. Studying at IISER Mohali is no-doubt an exhilarating experience but at the same time, it can be stressful for the students to get familiar with the system. In recognition of this fact, IISER Mohali campus offers also counselling service for students.

The library inside the campus offers a space for peaceful learning as well as collective voice reading. The library houses journals, electronic or print versions of books, general books, text or reference books, databases from various fields of study like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Earth or Environmental Sciences and Humanities and Social Sciences.

The library also makes accessible the specialized library resources and essentials, which aid teaching, learning, and research activities.

Inside the campus, there is an accommodation facility available for IISER Mohali faculty, guest faculty and visitors. IISER Mohali hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls.

The Sports facilities provided by the institute include an athletics track, basketball court, throwball and volleyball court, badminton and table tennis, chess and a huge ground to play cricket, football, kabaddi and kho kho.

IISER Mohali campus facilities include NMR Research Facility (NMR), X-ray Facility – X-ray Diffraction Crystallography, Cell Culture Facility, Animal house, Atomic Force Microscope, Laser Raman and AFM Facility-Raman Infrared, Circular Dichroic Spectrometer, Atmospheric Chemistry Facility, Computing Facility, and many more like these.
