NIT Manipur placement office is responsible for handling all the activities of campus placements for the students who are graduating from NIT Manipur. The office is well furnished with high-quality infrastructure to support the students in every stage.

NIT Manipur placement office arranges for Pre-Placement Talks and provides internships to the students according to the curriculum.

They coordinate with the companies for recruitment and sets up a suitable date for them to visit. The placement cell also registers interested students who match the skill and criteria for the companies.

For the batch of 2018, the placement was successful. From the batch, a total of 50 students were placed from various streams. The highest number of students were recruited from the Computer Science Engineering stream.

The second highest stream that received recruitments was Civil engineering. Computer science and Civil Engineering have always received good placements from the previous years itself. 19 recruiters participated in the campus drive to give job offers to the students.

The highest number of offers were made by Zolacode whereas the second highest was Infosys. NIT Manipur highest package is 17.5 lakhs per annum whereas the average was 5.6 lakhs per annum.

Some of the most popular recruiters who provided job offers to the candidates were Accenture, L & T Infotech, Infosys, IBM, Fluor Daniel, Capgemini, Microsoft, Denso, Powergrid etc.
