NIT Manipur Campus Facilities
NIT Manipur started its first classes in 2010 with only three branches of Engineering. NIT Manipur address is in Langol in Imphal, which is the capital city of Manipur. The NIT Manipur campus is spread over an area of 341.5 acres in lush greenery with mountains in view.
The campus is equipped with infrastructure facilities to provide modern education and training to the candidates. The campus has a centralized library, which has a collection of online journals and databases for research purposes and books for learning in every stream.
The computer centre has enough systems to provide for the needs of the students like emailing, printing, research etc. Workshops are present for every department for providing hands-on industrial training. Workshops ensure that the students get practical training and get prepared before entering the industry.
NIT Manipur address is easily reachable from any part of the country. The NIT Manipur faculty also help impart greater knowledge to the students.
The institute provides hostel facilities separately for both boys’ and girls’. Currently, there is one girl’s hostel and two boys’ hostel. However, there are limited seats in the current scenario.
In the coming year, a master plan has been made for the construction of more hostels in the campus. The process of construction has been initiated for both the hostels.
Students who want to stay in the hostel are required to contact the chief warden and obtain an admission form which has to be filled up by the students. The additional facilities available to the hostel residents are:

Students Activities
The students are very active in co-curricular activities and other activities outside of studies. The institute organizes sports meets every year and the students are very engaged in sports activities. Ougri is the annual cultural festival of the institute. The name is derived from a traditional dance form in Manipur.
