NIT Manipur Courses and Fee Structure
NIT Manipur was upgraded to the NIT status from a regional college due to its quality of imparting education to the students. The Government saw it fit for raising engineers of tomorrow. With that in mind, it offers engineering courses on every level.
The college provides full-time B.Tech courses in subjects like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science and Electronic Communication Engineering. Total five courses are available which are conducted for a duration of 4 years and 8 semesters.
On the postgraduate level, M.Tech courses are available in the same specializations in which B.Tech courses are available. For M.Tech courses, the candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in any relevant discipline with 60% of marks. NIT Manipur PhD courses are available in civil, mechanical, computer science and electronic engineering for a duration of 3 years.
The candidate possessing an M.E/ M.Tech degree in relevant disciplines with 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks can pursue PhD courses. NIT Manipur fee structure can be found from the official website.

The eligibility criteria for appearing in JEE Main is a 10+2 pass in Science (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics). To qualify for B.Tech admissions, a candidate must score minimum 75% in class 10+2 examination or be in the top 20 percentile at HSC level conducted by any recognized state board. 5% relaxation will be given to SC/ST and PH candidates in the minimum eligibility criteria. |
