Some of the financial aids provided are :

• Education Loans – Any student with financial issues can opt for educational loans to make their journey easier during their period of study. It is not anymore an insurmountable problem for the students. Education loans are provided by the Nationalized Banks at reasonable rates of interest to the needy and deserving students, Also the loan amount can be repaid after the completion of the degree or diploma.

• Fee Waiver Scheme – The State Government of Jammu and Kashmir has started a fee waiver scheme in order to help meritorious students, who have been marked for economical issues. It is a merit cum means basis scholarship scheme. The candidates who lack financial help from any other schemes or scholarship can apply to this scholarship.

• Financial Help – National Institute of Technology has a motto that “Poverty would not be allowed to stand in the way of the completion of the education of meritorious students.” In an endeavour to that, the meritorious students with financial problems are generously helped. Relaxation in tuition fee is also given to merit position holders in the qualifying examinations or competitive examinations and position holders in the University examinations. Additionally, the parents of meritorious students are also honoured along with the students in the annual functions of the Colleges.
