NIT Srinagar Courses and Fee Structure
NITSRI is a part of 31 National Institutes of Technology. NITSRI offers both B.Tech and M.Tech courses along with a PhD course on a higher level of studies. The program is distributed under 12 academic departments, which covers Engineering, Applied Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences programmes.
The college offers a four-year B.Tech. degree in Chemical Engineering with an intake capacity of 77students and an M.Tech. degree course was introduced in 2014 with a total intake capacity of 18 students.

NITSRI Civil Engineering department offers a four-year Bachelors Degree programme in Civil Engineering and a two-year Master’s degree with major specializations of Civil Engineering with other specializations in Water Resources Engineering, Structural Engineering Geotechnical Engineering, and Transportation Engineering & Planning.
NIT Srinagar PhD is also offered by the Civil Engineering department in all the specializations of Civil Engineering. Apart from the above one, the Department of Electrical Engineering offers B.Tech at UG level and M. Tech in Electrical Power & Energy Systems.
In addition to that, the Engineering and Communications department offers a B.Tech level course in Electronics and communications and a PG level course in Communication & IT. Also, NITSRI Mechanical department offers B.Tech in Mechanical engineering and M.Tech in Mechanical System Design.
Along with these, the college also offers four years duration long B.Tech. Degree in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering and B.Tech programme in Information Technology. NIT Srinagar fees structure is given below:

ME or M.Tech in a relevant stream of engineering with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 or not less than 60% for General Category and CGPA of 6.0 Or not less than 55% marks for SC/ST/OBC at Master’s level or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the Institute. Furthermore, BE or B.Tech with a valid GATE score above the mentioned cut off level or NET Qualification. All candidates should have a CGPA of 8.0 or at least 75% for General Category/OBC and CGPA of 7.5 or not less than 70% for SC/ST minimum at BE/B Tech level. |
