SMIT Sikkim Result and Cutoff

SMIT admissions are based on the marks scored in the exams like SMIT Offline test and GATE. SMIT conducts its own tests to select students for admission.

The cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks required to be scored in order to get selected. SMIT results of the selection are released after the cutoff for the year is decided.

Cutoff differs every year on a number of factors like the number of applicants, the number of seats available in the institution, the performance of the candidates and the cutoff trends of the previous years.

SMIT Results of selection are based on the ranks acquired by the candidates.  The cutoff is expressed in opening and closing ranks for SMIT offline test.

The rank differs for every category and subject of engineering. M.tech admissions are based on the marks scored by the candidates in GATE or the test conducted by the Sikkim Manipal University.
