NIT Mizoram Courses and Fee Structure
National Institute of Technology, Mizoram or NIT Mizoram was established in the year 2010, as an autonomous university. It was recognised as an NIT in 2007, then its courses affiliated under AICTE.
NIT Mizoram offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral level programs to the students. The college has four departments namely Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering.
It offers undergraduate level Bachelors’ in Technology or B.Tech, which is a four-year undergraduate program, with specializations including Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication. Admission is provided on the basis of scores obtained in JEE Main examination.
The Institute has a total intake capacity of 150 Students in B.tech courses. NIT Mizoram fee structure is divided on a semester basis. It provides a two-year postgraduate M.Tech program for industry-based learning in the field of engineering.
The course structure includes on the job training, group discussion, and theoretical knowledge. Candidates are admitted through the score received in GATE examination. The total intake of students in M.tech batch is approximately 40. NIT Mizoram PhD is a three-year-long research course on various topics of Engineering.
