NIT Arunachal Pradesh has its own Training And Placement Cell, which centrally handles all aspects of campus placements for both the undergraduate and postgraduate students of every department. This cell is provided with well-equipment infrastructure to support every stage of the placement processes.

The T & P members engage themselves in organising pre-placement talks, written tests, mock group discussions as well as mock interviews before the final placements. Also, it helps the candidates to prepare for the final placements as per the requirements of the organizations.

NIT Arunachal Pradesh placements office send out invitations to the companies with all relevant information in the beginning. Then the interested companies contact Training and Placement Cell. The cell helps the recruiters by providing them Job Notification Form (JNF) and the companies have to submit the duly filled form to the T&P Cell within a fixed date.

After that, the JNF is shared with the students and eligible students can apply to any company he or she wants. Additionally, if a company is interested to conduct their pre-placement talk by visiting the campus or via video conferencing can contact the T&P Cell.

After the students have submitted their applications, the JNF along with the resume is sent to the company. Then the company prepares a list of candidates eligible for PPT Test, Group Discussion or Personal Interviews before a prescribed date.

After the selection process is completed, the company announced the final list of selected students on that day itself and if a student is selected after the interview, a job is registered against him or her and he or she would not be allowed to appear for more interviews.

Last year the college witnessed a very successful placement season where NIT Arunachal Pradesh highest package was 11.68 LPA and NIT Arunachal Pradesh average package was 4.38 LPA. Some of the recruiters include Wipro, IBM, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infotech, Vodafone, Amazon, Nokia, Polaris etc.
