The National Institute of Technology Arunachal Pradesh abbreviated as NIT Arunachal Pradesh, is among the 31 National Institutes of Technology in India. It was founded in the year 2010. The NIT Arunachal Pradesh temporary campus is located in Yupia, in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh.

NITAP has nine functioning departments namely Basic and Applied Science, Biotechnology Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Management and Humanities.

The institute provides a four-year-long B.Tech. program while the B.Arch. program is five years long. During the first year of the B.Tech program, basic courses in Engineering, Mathematics and Professional Communication are common across all disciplines.

Additionally, it offers M.Tech courses covering the areas including Renewable Energy and Energy Management, VLSI and Embedded System, Electronic Design and Manufacturing, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical System Design and Innovation Technology, Mobile Communication and Computing, Appropriate Technology and Entrepreneurship.
