NIFT Kannur Scholarship

National Institute of Technology, Kannur is a well-defined name of fashion education industry. In order to accelerate its students’ overall growth, the college provides several facilities including giving scholarship to the needy students.

The institute believes that financial hindrance can not limit the thirst of knowledge and block the path of education. The centralised NIFT fund is also applicable for this institute, from which the NIFT scholarships are given. It is given in the form of a tuition fee waiver. Some of the scholarships are described below.

For undergraduate candidates

• A student is exempted from paying 75% of the tuition fee if his or her annual family income is less than 1.0 lakh.
• A student is exempted from paying 50% of the tuition fee if his or her annual family income is between 1.0 and 2.5 lakhs.
• A student is exempted from paying 25% of the tuition fee if his or her annual family income is between 2.5 and 4.0 lakhs.

For postgraduate candidates

• A student is exempted from paying 50% of the tuition fee if his or her annual family income is less than 1.0 lakh.
• A student is exempted from paying 25% of the tuition fee if his or her annual family income is between 1.0 and 2.5 lakhs.
