NIFT Kannur Campus Facilities

NIFT Kannur is one of the 16 NIFT campuses, located in different parts of India like  Kolkata, New Delhi, Mumbai, Bhubaneshwar, Bangalore, Chennai, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Raebareili, Bhopal, Kangra, Patna, Shillong, Jodhpur, Srinagar.

NIFT Kannur address is at Dharmasala, Kannur in Kerala. Spread across 10 acres of land, allotted by State Government of Kerala, NIFT Kannur comes up with a state of art infrastructure with an adequate number of modern amenities to make the students’ life easier within the campus.

The college has a huge NIFT library with a rich collection of print and non-print resources to provide academic assistance to the research and teaching programmes at the Institute. It is equipped with modern facilities of journals, books, CD-ROMs etc.

The Resource Centre also offers services like online database and Selective Dissemination of Information (SDI) facility. The academic block within the campus is architected with eight floors with classrooms, modern computer labs, Garment construction labs, Pattern making labs, and photography studio.

The textile processing, weaving, printing and materials labs in the workshop lab are included to serve experience in fashion. For several programmes and events, there are lecture halls or auditorium with a capacity of 400 persons.

Separate girls and boys NIFT Kannur hostel within the campus with food facilities are also available. The cosy accommodation in the rooms with twin sharing has all the basic pieces of furniture like chairs, tables, beds, cupboards.

The hostel can accommodate up to 200 students. Guesthouse for parents and NIFT Kannur Faculty members, tennis Court, Cricket field, Volleyball court and a Basketball ground are also a part of this campus. Cafeteria, gym and transport facilities are also given to the students.
