Scholarships

IIT Jodhpur Scholarships

IIT Jodhpur offers a range of scholarships and financial aid to help students cover their educational costs. All scholarships are awarded exclusively based on the student’s merit scores or financial necessity. These well-known scholarship programs are listed below.

  • Merit-cum-Means Scholarship: The MCM scholarship is given to undergraduate students based on their performance on their entrance exams or in previous academic coursework.
  1. Under this program, students in the general category are eligible for a monthly pocket allowance of INR 1000 as well as tuition price waivers.
  2. While students in the SC/ST category are given a monthly pocket allowance of INR 1000 and are not required to pay for their hostel seats or meals.

IIT Jodhpur offers this grant through NSP, particularly for SC students with top academic standing. To qualify for this program, SC students’ parents must earn less than INR 6 lakhs annually. In accordance with this program, the chosen students will receive full tuition fee waivers as well as other benefits.

  1. Expenses for living up to INR 2200 per month
  2. a yearly allowance of up to INR 3000 for books and stationery
  3. A laptop or computer costing INR 45,000
  • ST Scholarship for Top Class Students: Through NSP, ST students whose parents’ combined annual income is less than INR 2 lakhs may apply for the ST Scholarship for Top Class Students. Students will receive full tuition reimbursement plus the following benefits:
  1. Expenses for living up to INR 2200 per month
  2. a yearly allowance of up to INR 3000 for books and stationery
  3. A laptop or computer costing INR 45,000
  • Fee Remission to EWS B.Tech Students: Students who fall under the EWS category and are enrolled in the B.Tech program at IIT Jodhpur are eligible for fee remission. Under this program, students may receive tuition fee waivers based on their annual parental income.
