IIT Jodhpur admits students to its undergraduate and postgraduate programs via national-level entrance tests. Admission to the B.Tech. program is determined by JEE Advanced scores, followed by seat allocation through the JoSAA counselling process.

For postgraduate studies, the institute offers M.Tech., M.Sc., MBA, and other master’s programs. Entry to these courses is based on performance in the relevant entrance exams (GATE for M.Tech., IIT JAM for M.Sc., CAT for MBA, etc.), followed by counselling—and, in some cases, a personal interview. Applicants must register separately for each exam, and once results are announced, submit their applications on the IIT Jodhpur website.

IIT Jodhpur also provides a Ph.D. program across roughly 17 disciplines. Selection is based on a Departmental Test, academic record, professional experience, and an interview. Candidates who have qualified GATE, UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, or SLET are eligible to apply directly for the doctoral program.

IIT Jodhpur B.Tech. Admission 2025

IIT Jodhpur offers eight B.Tech. specialisations, with entry determined by JEE Advanced performance and subsequent seat allocation through the JoSAA counselling process. Once candidates secure a seat via JoSAA, they must remit the course fee to confirm their enrollment.

His full reflections on the admissions experience, as well as insights into placements and hostel life, can be found under “Read More.”
