CUSAT Scholarships

CUSAT scholarships are awarded to those students who have financial constraints in their family. These scholarships or financial aid help these unfortunate students realise their dream of higher education by reducing the burden of the tuition fees from over them. There are many scholarships which the students of CUSAT can avail. Below is a list of the scholarships awarded:

Scholarship 1: Students Aid Fund

This fund is kept separately by the Institute for helping the students who need it. It is provided only after checking the Educational, Social, Financial and Physical background of the students. The details of the scholarship can be obtained from the university website.

Scholarship 2: The MOMA Scholarship

The MOMA Scholarship stands for the Merit Cum Means Scholarship which is offered by Ministry of Minority Affairs. Students belonging to minority community like Muslim, Christian, Jain. Parsi are eligible for this scholarship if their familial income is below 2.50 lakhs per annum. It is a government-sponsored scholarship and can be applied through the portal.

Scholarship 3: MEA Scholarship

This is also a Merit Cum Means Scholarship provided by Malayalee Engineers Association, Houston. Students who have a familial income lower than 1.5 lakhs per annum and has scored rank lesser than 5000 in KEAM and ower than 100 in NATA and has scored above 85% in their HS exams are eligible for the scholarship.

Apart from scholarships, fellowship assistance for PhD students and education loan are always available for the students who are facing financial hardships.
