SET 2024 Exam Pattern
It’s imperative for candidates to familiarize themselves with the exam pattern of the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET Exam) before sitting for it. The exam encompasses four distinct programs: General, Law, Engineering, and Design.
Here are some general highlights applicable to all papers:
- Mode of SET Exam 2024: Strictly online
- Duration of SET Exam: Each test spans 150 minutes. No additional time will be allotted for candidates arriving late at the exam center.
- Nature of Questions in SET exam: Objective type, with each question presenting four response options. Candidates are to select the most appropriate one.
- SET Exam Marking Scheme: No negative marking for incorrect answers.
Note: All sections in the Symbiosis Entrance Test are compulsory.
The number of sections in each question paper and the subjects tested vary based on the paper type. Similarly, the total number of questions and marks differ accordingly.

SLAT Exam Day Guidelines
- Use a laptop or desktop with a webcam and mouse.
- Aim for an internet speed of 5 Mbps, and have a mobile data pack as a backup for wifi interruptions.
- Recommended operating systems: Windows 7, 10, and Ubuntu LINUX (versions 14.1 and 16); iOS OS and iOS/Android are not supported.
- Browser zoom must be set to 100%, and use Google Chrome, latest Version 83.0.
- Ensure any firewall or antivirus software is installed and active.
- Have a reliable keyboard and uninterrupted power supply.
- Keep the laptop connected to the charger throughout the exam.
Instructions for Participating in SLAT 2024 Online Remote Proctored Exam
- Click on the link provided to you and await the appearance of the login screen.
- Log in using your username and password.
- Upon login, you will see three tabs: Application Summary, Online Assessment, and Helpdesk. Choose Online Assessment and proceed to launch.
- On the Self-Registration and candidate consent screen, select your camera from the dropdown menu.
- Grant permission for the browser to access your device camera. Capture your image and retake if the red border appears.
- After providing consent, capture your ID.
