SET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The SET 2024 examination has some important eligibility criteria that need to be matched with that of the candidate’s. Without the right eligibility criteria, no individual will be allowed to sit for the examination. The students should also have all the important documents to support their eligibility claim. Here is a detailed description of the eligibility criteria to appear for SET 2024.
Bachelor of Technology:
Passed Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies from any recognized Board with a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent grade (40% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes)
BCA:
The applicant needs to pass the 10+2 exam from any of the recognized board in the country or possess a Diploma in engineering/technology from a recognized board/university. They need to secure a minimum of 50% marks in the entrance exam in order to qualify. For the SC/ST candidates, the qualifying marks are 40%.
BBA:
The candidate needs to complete 10+2 from any recognized board in the country. They should have minimum 50% marks in the entrance exam to qualify. 45% marks for SC/ST candidates).

BBA |
Candidates from any stream who have completed his/ her +2 examination from any recognized university or board.

50% marks need to obtain in the qualifying test by the general category candidates. For SC/ST candidates the requirement is 45%.

A candidate can appear for the exam as many times as he pleases as long as he meets the given criteria. Any student who fails to show the right documents to support their eligibility will not be permitted to sit for the examination.
