SET 2025 Preparation

Based on previous years’ trends, the SET exam is considered an easy to moderate difficulty-level BBA entrance exam. Preparing for the SET exam is not overly difficult or time-consuming. However, having a solid preparation strategy and using the right resources can significantly help candidates perform well. It is recommended that students begin their preparation at least six months before the exam date, allowing ample time to cover all aspects of the SET syllabus.

Understanding the SET syllabus and exam pattern is crucial. Candidates should create a comprehensive preparation plan, which should include:

  • Covering the entire SET syllabus with reliable SET preparation books
  • Practicing mock tests and sample papers
  • Revising key topics in the final days leading up to the exam

The SET question paper consists of four main sections: Logical and Analytical Reasoning, General English, General Knowledge, and Quantitative Aptitude. Typically, the Quantitative Aptitude section is more challenging than the others, so students should focus on it. Recommended books, such as NCERT Math textbooks from Class 9 and Class 10, can be helpful. Additionally, reviewing previous years’ question papers can aid in tackling difficult questions effectively.
