Kashmir University Courses and Fee Structure
Kashmir University offers a wide number of courses in varied streams. It offers undergraduate courses, postgraduate as well as research level programmes, the eligibility criteria for which vary accordingly. The admission to the UG programmes is done on the basis of merit of the last qualifying examination.
For higher degree, the candidate will be required to appear for the entrance examination. The courses are offered for two years, three years and five years duration.
Under the UG programme, the university offers B.A, B.Com and B.Sc streams in different specialisations. The B.A programme includes mainly three-year courses and offers Bachelor of Arts + Bachelor of Laws [BA LLB], which is a 5-years programme. On the other hand, Bachelor of Laws [LLB] is offered for a duration of 3 years.
At this level, an Education Department programme called B.Ed is also offered for a duration of one year while B.Pharm is provided for four years. Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] is offered for a duration of four years. The candidates can check the syllabus of the courses they are going to pursue.

In the PG programme, it offers M.Com, MA, MSW, M.Lib.I.Sc, MCA, MBA, M.Ed, M.P.Ed, M.Pharm, M.Phil and that with many more specialisation. For the admission in the PG programme, the university conducts an entrance test.
To appear for the same, the candidate should have a graduation degree in specific subjects. Candidates can check the syllabus of Kashmir University, which is available on the official website as well as third-party sites.
Courses offered in Kashmir University also include research-level programmes for which, the candidates should have good scores in the relevant subjects at PG level of study. The research-level programme is referred to as the PhD, for which the university conducts an entrance test. The selection of the candidate is done on the basis of merit in that entrance test.
In addition to this, Kashmir University distance education courses are also provided for the students who cannot attempt a regular one, especially the working professionals. The programme includes a one-year and two-years Diploma or Certification courses that students can take.
For this, the candidate must have 10+2 passing certificate from a reputed board or university. The admission fee for different courses varies to a great extent. The candidates can check the Kashmir University fee structure on the official website.
