Allahabad University Scholarships 

Allahabad University Scholarships are provided to the students with the aim to lessen the financial burden from its students. Apart from University Scholarships, the students can also apply for the other Central or State Government scholarships available in India.

Some of the popular financial aid available include:

• UGC Scholarship – The scholarship is provided by UGC, University Grant Commission. Candidates are shortlisted through the NET exam. 
• CSIR scholarship – The scholarship is awarded by CSIR. Candidates are shortlisted based on marks scored in the NET exam in Science stream. 
• Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship – The scholarship is offered by UGC to the meritorious students who are selected by the department. Applicants must belong to Schedule Caste or Schedule Tribe category. 
• D.Phil. – The scholarship is provided by the University of Allahabad and all students who have taken admission under the merit list are eligible for the scholarship. The scholarship amount is Rs 5000/-. 
• ICHR – The scholarship is awarded by the ICHR. The eligibility criteria are decided by the authority. The scholarship amount is Rs 5000/- along with Rs 12000/- contingency.
• ICSSR – The scholarship is provided by the ICSSR. The eligibility criteria are decided by the ICSSR. 
• ICPR – The scholarship is awarded by the ICPR. 
• Nuclear Science – The scholarship is offered by the Nuclear Science Department. The eligibility criteria are decided by the authority.
• Jawahar Bhawan Trust Scholarship – The scholarship is offered by the University of Allahabad to the students who are enrolled for MA or MSc or MCom. or LAW at the University. The scholarship amount is Rs 1000/-. 
• Dr Gorakh Prasad Memorial Scholarship – The scholarship is provided to the students enrolled in MA or M.Sc. courses. The scholarship amount is Rs 3000/- per year. 
• Merit-Cum-Means Scholarships – The scholarship is offered by DSW, Univ. of Allahabad to meritorious students with financial disability. The scholarship amount is Rs 5000/- per year.
• SC or ST Scholarship for UG Students – This scholarship is offered by the Samaj Kalyan Vibhag, State Govt. Only Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Caste candidates are eligible for the scholarship.
• SC or ST Scholarship for PG Students – This scholarship is offered by the Samaj Kalyan Vibhag, State Govt. Only Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste candidates are eligible for the scholarship
• OBC Scholarship for UG students – This scholarship is offered by the Samaj Kalyan Vibhag, State Govt. Only OBC candidates are eligible for the scholarship.
• OBC Scholarship for PG students – This scholarship is offered by the Samaj Kalyan Vibhag, State Govt. Only OBC candidates are eligible for the scholarship.
