Allahabad University Campus facilities

Allahabad University address is located in Senate House Campus, University Road, Old Katra in Allahabad. The campus is sprawling over an area of 232 acres. Allahabad University campus is comprised of Girls Hostel, Library, Cafeteria, Medical facilities, sports facilities, hostels, IT Infrastructure, Gym, Laboratories, Gandhi Bhawan, Administrative buildings etc. 

Allahabad University library is well-stocked with 19,118 PhD theses, 750983 books and a great volume of journals, 2564 e-books. The central library not only caters to the needs of the research scholars, students and teachers of the university but also supports the horizon of knowledge in accordance with the different research programmes that are carried out by the university. 

Allahabad University hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls. The university has an athletic association which helps to train students for all the university level sports programmes as well as Inter-University level sports activities. 

There is a computer centre with all sorts of hi-tech technical facilities. In addition to that, Gandhi Bhawan Mandapamn is located inside the campus, which is a place is full of calm and serenity. It is used for yoga, meditation and bhajan. Alongside, Gandhi Bhawan library has a large collection of literature on Gandhian thought and other related subjects.

Also, there is a Gandhi Bhawan Conference Hall that is well-equipped with an audio-video system and has a sitting capacity of over sixty persons for deliberation and discussion. Along with that, Gandhi Bhawan Lawn is always surrounded by blossoming lotus.
