Saveetha Engineering College Scholarships 

Saveetha Engineering College Scholarships are provided under various criteria for the Undergraduate and Postgraduate level students.

Scholarships are provided with an opportunity to many students to continue their education without any assistance from an outside source and it also helps the students who face troubles to pay for their degrees prior to entering into a corporate world or become a contributing member of society.

The scholarships take away the financial burden from the students at the time of their study. 

Some of the financial-aids provided are:

• Tuition Fee Concession for First Graduate:

The Government of India grants tuition fee concession for the candidates who are the first graduate in a family as well as those who are attending counselling and have joined in professional courses in Government-Aided or Self-Financing Engineering Colleges.

If any applicant’s brother or sister has already graduated, in case of that Tuition Fee concession for studying Professional Courses will not be applicable for the applicant.

• AICTE Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) Scheme: 

This scheme is only available in Self-Financing Engineering Colleges and Self-Supporting courses in Government-aided engineering colleges. AICTE Tuition fee waiver scheme is applicable for undergraduate level courses only.

The scholarship intake capacity per course is available under the scheme. AICTE TFW scheme is awarded by the Management of the Institution. Students whose annual family income is not more than Rs.6.00 lakh from all sources are only eligible under this scheme.

• Post Matric Scholarship:

Government of India grants Post Matric Scholarship to SC or SCA or ST candidates, whose parental annual income should not exceed Rs 2,50,000/- and SC  or SCA converted Christians annual should not exceed Rs. 2,00,000/- from all the sources to be eligible for the scholarship.
