National Institute of Technology Delhi or NITD is one of the emerging engineering institutions in India. It is among the 31 NITs that was established by an act of parliament and has been announced as an Institute of National importance in the year 2010.

It is an autonomous Institute functioning under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

NITD has a total number of five functioning departments that include Applied Sciences, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

NIT Delhi fees are reasonable than other colleges in the region. NIT Delhi courses are provided on engineering programs in undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate level courses.

NITD provides four-year long bachelor’s degree programmes in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

The intake capacity of students in B.tech Courses is 60 in every branch. In addition to that, It offers two-year M.tech programmes in Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering. There is an intake capacity of students to these postgraduate programmes is 15 each batch.

NIT Delhi PhD is offered in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering.

NITD conducts theoretical and experimental research along with the areas of VLSI and embedded systems, power electronics and drives, advanced magnetohydrodynamics and mathematical modelling of fluid dynamics.

NIT Delhi Courses & Fees

NIT Delhi provides opportunities for students to pursue undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees. Admission to these programs is granted based on performance in national-level examinations, followed by a counseling process. In the case of the BTech program, there are six different specialisations, while the MTech program offers seven distinct specialisations. Additionally, NIT Delhi extends six specialisations within the PhD program.
