NID Ahmedabad Result and Cutoff

Candidates seeking admission to the Undergraduate level B. Des courses is given based on the marks obtained in the Design Aptitude Test Prelims and Design Aptitude Test Mains. Hence, NID cut off is declared after DAT scores are released. There’s an upper age limit for candidates applying to the Undergraduate Programmes, which is 20 years of age on or before July 1 for general category candidates and relaxation of three years is given for reserved category. In order to secure admission to the Postgraduate level M.Des courses, the institute considers Design Aptitude Test Prelims and Design Aptitude Test Mains scores. Thus, NID 2018 cutoff was declared for Postgraduate level courses after DAT scores are released. Candidates applying for the Postgraduate level Programmes should not be more than 30 years of age for general category candidates and relaxation of three years is given for reserved category candidates. Only two seats per specializations are available for overseas or supernumerary candidates. 

Aspiring candidates are only able to apply for a maximum of two disciplines for the Master of Design program. NID reserves 15% of the seats for Schedule Caste, 7.5% of the seats for Schedule Tribe candidates, 27% of the seats for candidates belonging to OBC category and 3% of the seats for PwD candidates.
