Mumbai University Campus Facilities
Mumbai University is the oldest university in Mumbai that was established back in 1857. There are three campuses across Mumbai namely Kalina Campus, Thane Sub Campus and Fort Campus. There is another campus outside Mumbai namely Ratnagiri Campus.
Kalina Campus
It is located in the suburban Mumbai and covers an area of 230 acres of land. It houses various courses for graduates, undergraduates and research level programmes in different specialisations. Most of the colleges having engineering and medical background are affiliated to Mumbai University.
Fort Campus
The University was established in the Fort Campus, which is located in the southern end of the city and University of Mumbai address is given on the official website. It has two PG centres, 762 colleges operating under it and 36 departments.
Thane Campus
It was established in 2014. It covers an area of six acres of land. Mumbai University Ratnagiri campus is located in Mirjole. It is a minor campus, which mostly runs extramural courses.

It is well-maintained and hygienic. There is a separate Mumbai University girls’ hostel, which has good security and strictly followed time schedules.
