Hostel

Transport Facility

A reliable transportation service is provided for students and faculty, featuring buses that follow designated routes covering over 60% of Ahmedabad city. In addition to university buses, local public transportation is also available to reach Indus University. Bus schedules are synchronized with the university’s timetable for convenience.

Library Facilities:

  • The Indus Library covers an area exceeding 600 square meters.
  • It hosts a comprehensive collection of informative, scientific, historical, fictional, and non-fictional books, spanning disciplines like engineering, management, research, design, aviation, English, mathematics, and science.
  • The library houses over 26,000 volumes of books and subscribes to more than 250 national and international journals.
  • Resources such as books, journals, and project reports are accessible electronically, as well as in CD and DVD formats.

Computer Labs

The university provides air-conditioned computer labs across multiple floors. It features a leased line internet connection with local networking supported by over 20 Wi-Fi routers that ensure full campus coverage. These labs are equipped with state-of-the-art systems supporting both Windows and Linux servers. Students have access to the latest software packages and can browse selected internet sites simultaneously, gaining practical experience in a modern computing environment.

Canteen

At Indus, the food is prepared with consideration for the diverse tastes and preferences of students and faculty members. Steam boilers are employed for cooking rice and vegetables, ensuring hygiene and expediting the cooking process. Regular inspections are conducted to maintain the freshness, hygiene, and deliciousness of the food served in the canteen. The canteen is divided into two sections: one for students and another for staff members, each accommodating approximately 250 individuals due to its spacious layout.
