• GATE COAP 2025: Registrations are now open for admission to M.Tech, M.Arch, and M.Plan programs. Round 1 offers will be released on May 17, 2025. Candidates with valid GATE scores from 2023, 2024, or 2025 can register online at gate.iisc.ac.in/coap2025. Please note, applicants must also apply separately to each participating institute.

• JEE Advanced 2025: Registration dates have been announced on the official website jeeadv.ac.in. The application window will be open from April 23 to May 2, 2025. The JEE Advanced 2025 exam is scheduled for May 18, 2025. Only the top 2.5 lakh candidates who qualify JEE Main will be eligible to apply.

• GPAT 2025: Registrations are currently ongoing for admission to the M.Pharm program. Interested candidates can apply until April 21, 2025 (11:55 PM) at natboard.edu.in/viewnbeexam?exam=gpat. The GPAT 2025 exam will be conducted on May 25, 2025.

IIT BHU Scholarships

25% of undergraduate students at IIT BHU are eligible for merit-based scholarships. Along with this, the institution also offers additional forms of financial aid to SC/ST students, including pocket allowances, reimbursement for mess fees, and institute-free studentships.

All non-sponsored students accepted into M.Tech./M.Pharm. programmes receive financial aid in the amount of junior research fellowships. There are several of Junior/Senior Research Fellowships available for PhD candidates.

Q. Is admission to IIT BHU just based on merit?

Ans. Admission to IIT BHU is not entirely based on academic achievement. JEE Advanced, GMAT, GPAT, NET, GATE, IIT JAM, etc. are just a few examples of the qualifying entry exams that candidates must have passed. A written exam or PI is also given for some courses.

Q. What specialties are available in the IIT BHU M.Pharm programme?

Ans. IIT BHU's M.Pharm programme offers four different specialisations: pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, and pharmacognosy. Merit, GPAT results, and the interview all go into admission decisions.

Q. Does IIT BHU provide UG students with a residential facility?

Ans. Yes, IIT BHU provides UG students with a hostel facility. For the accommodation of more than 30000 Indian students and 65 international students, the institute operates 76 hostels.

Q. What kind of reservation procedures are used at IIT BHU?

Ans. IIT BHU reserves 15% of seats in each subject for candidates who are SC, 7.5 % for ST, and 27% who are OBC (non-creamy layer). Additionally, the institution grants SC/ST applicants a 5% qualification degree relaxation throughout the IIT BHU admissions procedure.

Q. Does IIT BHU offer Ph.D. students fellowships?

Ans. The IIT BHU Ph.D. students are given fellowships worth INR 25000 plus home rent allowances if they are unable to live on campus. The basic fellowship rises to INR 28000 per month if the fellow is elevated to SRF after two years.
