IIM Ranchi Admission 2025

The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 is scheduled for November 24, 2024, and registration has already closed. Candidates can download their admit cards starting November 5, 2024, via the official website, iimcat.ac.in.

For the 2025 intake, admissions are open for the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA). Interested candidates can apply through the institute’s admission portal (app.iimranchi.ac.in/admission) until November 7, 2024, by 5 PM. The application fee is INR 2,000.

IIM Ranchi’s 2025 admissions are based on CAT scores, followed by a Personal Interview. The minimum CAT percentile accepted at IIM Ranchi was 98.76. For the Integrated Program in Management (IPM), the institute accepts IPMAT scores, with the cutoff around 187.

Out of 100,716 general category candidates who selected IIM Ranchi as their CAT preference, 8,998 were shortlisted for interviews, and 2,210 received final admission offers.

The IIM Ranchi course admissions process for MBA, MBA-HR, and MBA-BA programs for the year 2025 involves a series of stages. The IPM program admission includes the following processes:

IIM Ranchi IPMAT Cutoff:

Candidates for the IPM program are shortlisted based on their performance in the IPMAT exam. This year, the shortlist criteria were evenly split: 50% for Quantitative Aptitude (MCQ + Short Answer) and 50% for Verbal Ability. The cutoff for the general category was 93 percentile. The admission into PhD and Executive PhD includes the following processes:

IIM Ranchi Admission 2024: Exams Accepted

IIM Ranchi offers two certificate programs: the Certificate Program in General Management (CPGM) and the Certificate Program in Business Analytics and Business Intelligence (CPBABI). The duration of the CPGM program spans 15 months, while the CPBABI program extends over 18 months. The total program fee for CPGM is INR 3 Lakhs, and for CPBABI, it amounts to INR 4 Lakhs.

Eligibility Criteria for CPGM: Candidates who possess a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks and a minimum of 2 years of work experience are eligible to apply for the program.

Eligibility Criteria for CPBABI: Those with an undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) degree and a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent with CGPA in the following categories are eligible to apply:

Engineering / Technology or Science with Mathematics / Statistics / Operations Research / Computer Science / Information Technology as a subject,
Computer Application, or
Any other equivalent academic discipline deemed suitable as per IIM Ranchi’s assessment.

For UG or PG degrees with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent with CGPA in disciplines other than those mentioned above, candidates with a minimum of 2 years of work experience in analytics may also be considered.

Selection Criteria for CPGM: Candidates will be chosen based on Profile Scoring, which encompasses an assessment of their application form, academic qualifications, experience certificates, and statement of purpose.

Selection Criteria for CPBABI: The selection procedure for this program relies on the Profile Scoring assigned by the Institute utilising the information furnished by the applicants. It’s noteworthy that meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee admission into the program.
