BIT Mesra Admission 2024 is now open for B.Tech courses based on JEE Main scores. JoSAA has released the Round 3 Seat Allotment Result, and the deadline for fee payment is July 08 (5 PM). Other major updates for BIT Mesra Admission 2024 include:

BMLT Admission is open until July 10.
The application deadline for M.Pharm has been extended to July 12.
Online MBA Admission is open, with the application deadline on July 15. Students can also apply for the Regular MBA under the special round until July 15.

BIT Mesra admission for 2024 typically commences in June-July, offering a diverse array of 58 courses including BTech, BArch, MTech, MSc, MBA, among others. BIT Mesra offers B.Tech, B.E, and B.Arch courses with various specialisations. The available specialisations for B.Tech are Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Production Engineering, Civil Engineering. Admission to the M.Sc program at BIT Mesra is based on the scores obtained in JAM/CUCET. The selection process considers 80% weightage for JAM/CUCET marks and 20% for academic performance.

(Engg.)/B.Pharm/B.Arch./B.Plan. or an equivalent degree in the relevant branch from a recognised University/Institute are also eligible for admission with a minimum of 80% marks or an 8.0 CGPA. They should be GATE/GPAT qualified with a minimum score of 80 percentile. Sponsored candidates must have a minimum of two years of professional work experience and valid sponsorship for at least three years.

BIT Mesra Ph.D. Selection Process

Candidates are selected based on their GATE/GPAT scores/percentile as determined by the institute. Academic performance is also taken into consideration during the selection process. Candidates must appear for an entrance test conducted by the institute. Those who qualify for the entrance exam will be called for a personal interview conducted by the institute.
