BITS Pilani Course Admissions 2025

• The online application form for BITSAT 2025 (Session 1 & Session 2) is now available. The deadline to apply is April 18, 2025. BITSAT Session 1 will take place from May 26 to May 30, 2025, while Session 2 will be held from June 22 to June 26, 2025.
• Applications for the MBA (Business Analytics) 2025-27 batch are now open, with the tentative deadline for submission being February 17, 2025. Additionally, the Business Analytics Aptitude Test (BAAT) is scheduled to be held tentatively on March 23, 2025.
• The admit cards for GATE 2025, for admission to the MTech program, have been released. Registered candidates can log in to the official website to download their admit cards. The GATE 2025 exams are set to be held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.

Admission to BITS Pilani for all programs is based on entrance tests. For integrated first-degree programs (BE, B.Pharm, and M.Sc), the university conducts the BITS Admission Test (BITSAT). For higher degree programs (ME and M.Pharm), BITS Pilani conducts the BITS HD online test and also accepts GATE/GPAT scores. Admission to the MBA in Business Analytics program is based on the Business Analytics Admission Test (BAAT), a personal interview, CAT/XAT scores, work experience, and academic history. In addition to these programs, BITS Pilani offers doctoral programs and a B.Sc. in Computer Science in association with Coursera.

BITS Pilani BE, B.Pharm, and M.Sc Admissions 2025

BITS Pilani offers on-campus Integrated First Degree programs, including BE, B.Pharm, and M.Sc, each with a duration of 4 years (8 semesters). Admissions to these programs are conducted through various schemes such as BITSAT, the Board Topper’s Scheme, the International Students’ Admission Scheme, and the BITS-RMIT Higher Education Academy’s Admission Scheme. Undergraduate Programs (BE, B.Pharm, M.Sc):

• BITSAT: Conducted in two sessions, with Session 1 in May and Session 2 in June.

Postgraduate Programs (ME, M.Pharm):

• BITS Higher Degree (HD) Online Test.
• Accepts GATE scores for ME and GPAT scores for M.Pharm.

BITS Pilani MBA/PGDM Admissions 2025

The BITS Pilani MBA is a two-year program, consisting of four semesters. The university offers an MBA in Business Analytics at the postgraduate level, with nine specialisations available. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have completed their undergraduate degree from a recognised university with at least 60% aggregate marks. 

BITS Pilani MBA Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline or its equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks, and have studied at least one subject in Mathematics or Statistics at the 10+2 level.
• Final-year students of their qualifying degree are also eligible to apply.

BITS Pilani MBA Selection Criteria

Admission to the MBA in Business Analytics is based on the Business Analytics Admission Test (BAAT) conducted by BITS Pilani.

• Shortlisting for the personal interview round will be based on BAAT performance.
• Final selection will be based on the BAAT score, performance in the personal interview, CAT (2024), XAT (2025), GMAT (2024) scores (if available), prior work experience, and academic background.

Other Admission Modes for BE, B.Pharm, and M.Sc Programs:

Board Toppers:

• Direct admission for first-rank students of all central and state boards to their program of choice, regardless of BITSAT score.
• First-rank PCM stream students can choose any first-degree program.
• First-rank PCB stream students are eligible for admission to the B.Pharm program only.

International Students’ Admission:

• Candidates with foreign passports and valid Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) scores can apply.
• SAT candidates do not need to appear for BITSAT.
• Minimum aggregate score of 1160 (out of 1600) in SAT (reasoning), which includes a Reading Test, Writing and Language Test, and Math Test.

BITS-RMIT Higher Education Academy:

• • Candidates who appeared in BITSAT can opt for the BITS-RMIT Higher Education Academy mode of admission.
  • Students receive two degrees, awarded separately and simultaneously from BITS Pilani and RMIT Australia.

BITS Pilani Admission Process

Admissions to the BE, BPharm, MSc, and MSc (Tech) programs at BITS Pilani are conducted through BITSAT. Candidates can apply online for the BITSAT application process by making an online payment of the application fee. Those interested in applying for any of the higher degree programs must apply through BITS HD by visiting the official website of Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani. The step-by-step application process for BITSAT is as follows:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the University and click on ‘Apply Now.’ If you are already registered, click on ‘Already Registered Candidates,’ or if not, click on the ‘New Registration’ tab.

Step 2: After successful registration, the application form will appear. Fill out the form with required details such as name, gender, date of birth, email ID, mobile number, and password.

Step 3: After entering the necessary information, pay the application fee of INR 3,400 for one session and INR 5,400 for two sessions. Click the submit button to complete the registration.

Step 4: Upon successful registration, a pop-up message with the registration number will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Note down the registration number, login ID, and password, as they are necessary for future logins.

MBA Application Process 2025

To apply for the BITS Pilani MBA program, follow these steps:
