Dual Degree Programs at BITS Pilani

A popular choice among students, the Dual Degree Programs at BITS Pilani allow students to earn two degrees simultaneously in ten semesters (five years). Students typically begin with any BE or M.Sc program and can opt to pursue a second degree at the end of the first year, depending on their CGPA. The most common dual degree combination is BE + M.Sc, as the M.Sc (Hons) program has a relatively lower cutoff, allowing students to earn a Bachelor of Engineering degree along with a Master of Science degree.

BTech from BITS Pilani

The NIRF Engineering rankings 2021 place BITS Pilani BTech at 26. In its BTech programme, the institute offers seven specialisations. In addition, for working professionals only, BITS Pilani WILP offers off-campus BTech degrees in Engineering Technology and Process Engineering. Admission to the regular BTech programme is based on BITSAT scores. Work Integrated Learning Programs (WILP) at BITS Pilani are technical continuing education programmes for working professionals and industries. The programmes provided allow students to gain experience in the working environments of various industries. The programme has grown in popularity over the years. WILP began with 30 students in 1979 and now has over 30,000 professionals enrolled. More than 1000 faculty members are affiliated with the WILP. Work integrated learning programmes are available to both working professionals and businesses. MTech, BTech, MBA, MSc, PG Diploma, and PG Certificate programmes are available to working professionals. Data Science at BITS Pilani

Through its Work Integrated Learning Programs, BITS Pilani offers MTech Data Science and Engineering programmes (WILP). It is a four-semester programme that can be completed without taking a break from work. BITS Pilani Admission Process

Admissions to the BE, BPharm, MSc, and MSc (Tech) programs at BITS Pilani are conducted through BITSAT. Candidates can apply online for the BITSAT application process by making an online payment of the application fee. BITS Pilani Campus

BITS Pilani Hostel

BITS Pilani is fully residential, providing hostel accommodation for all students. There are eleven hostels for boys and one hostel complex for girls, each referred to as a "Bhawan". Hostel rooms are fully furnished with internet connectivity, water purifiers, and solar water heaters. Common room facilities with Cable TV and telephone are available in each hostel. Every two boys' hostels share a common kitchen-cum-mess unit, while the girls' hostel has its own separate mess. BITS Pilani Cutoff 2024

The BITS Pilani cutoff for 2024 has been finalised for BE, Integrated MSc, and other programs. However, the cutoff for the MBA program is yet to be released. Admission to BE courses at BITS Pilani is based on BITSAT scores, followed by a counseling round. The BITS Pilani BITSAT 2024 seat allotment results have been released in iterations. • The GPAT 2025 registration window for the MPharma course will open in April 2025.

The BITS Pilani MBA cutoff based on CAT and XAT scores. Candidates with valid scores in either CAT or XAT are eligible for further rounds of selection. According to the cutoff data, General category candidates from All India are expected to have a minimum overall score of 60 percentile in CAT and 70 percentile in XAT.

For CAT, a percentile below 80 is generally not considered a strong cutoff for applying to top MBA colleges. However, several B-schools in India accept CAT percentiles ranging from 60 to 80 for MBA admissions. Scholarship at BITS Pilani

• Scholarship for Board Toppers: As a merit scholarship, BITS Pilani offers 100 percent, 75 percent, and 50 percent fee exemption to the top three board toppers of their respective boards. The scholarship is only good for the first semester's tuition.
