Hi guys,

My GMAT is coming up on 28th and I'm a bit confused.

I've completed the OG (80-85% accuracy on the questions) and all the guides by Manhattan GMAT (Including the advanced Quant guide. 85% accuracy on the 15 workout sets included in them).

Today I took the first GMAT Prep test and scored just a 620! :'(

Any suggestions on how I can increase these scores?

Hi,

I was doing RC Questions from OG Verbal 2015 and was able to attempt only 50% of the questions. The questions were pretty good but i couldn't understand the passage well and answer the questions. Please suggest me some way to improve my Reading Comprehension skills. I would be so grateful.

I applied for ISB class of 2016. I have 89.8% - X, 90.6% - XII and 9.01 cgpa in b.tech(I.T.).

I have now 4 years of experience as a software developer in MNCs.

My GMAT score was 660, 670(31 in verbal, 50 in quant, 5 in essay and 8 IR).

I have many extra curricular achievements both in college and my company.

I got ISB interview call. Interview was also like 7/10. but could not convert it, primarily because of my low score(I guess so).

Now I am again determined to apply this year. What I am seeking is answers to following questions:

- shall I write gmat again by sept to improve my application by scoring 710+ (i have already written it twice without any coaching)?

- if yes, I need someone to pin point my strengths and weaknesses and make me prepare for exam accordingly. I need a dedicated tutor and not a coach.

Can anyone please suggest the path forward?

Hello everyone,

I have appeared for GMAT twice and have constantly scored low in my Verbal. My Quant scores are okay. I cannot understand where I am going wrong with my verbal skills. I have done the Kaplan study material and the Official Guide. Anyone who can suggest me how to work on it?

Is it worth buying official guide for gmat 2016 ( set of 3 books ) from amazon or flipkart? 

Or should I buy them from mba.com store?

The prices greatly vary at amzaon ( Rs 4400 approx) and flipkart ( Rs 3000 approx). I was wondering about the genuinity of the books from these sellers.
