Hi,

I took the GMAT last month and selected 5 schools to send my scores to on the test day. I did not score quite to my expectations and I am going to take the GMAT again. My question is that should I choose a different set of schools to send my scores this time.

To be clear, my top 5 schools are still the ones I selected on the 1st attempt and I want them to see my 2nd attempt scores as well. So will sending the scores to them once allow them to see all my scores when I apply to them and therefore I can choose a different set of schools or do I need to resend my scores to my top 5.

Thanks in advance

I need information about good test series for GMAT.

Hi, I am starting my GMAT preparation and i would like to know the books/materials to be followed. Verbal is not my strong area is Manhattan 8 books set is enough for verbal preparation or any other material is which is more helpful? Please share @kinji.at.pg1

Hi,

I have just started with my GMAT prep. Have completed OG 13 for Data Sufficiency, Math and RC.

Having trouble with Critical Reasoning and SC. Any suggestions??

Also what kind of scores do I need to target for places like Erasmus, ESADE, IESE, Kellogg, Tuck, Sloan, ISB, INSEAD(don't really know whether this one is a practical choice or not)??

And if I want to start my MBA program in 2015 what are the usual application deadlines??. More specifically, when should I target to write the test in order to apply to the above mentioned schools for batches starting 2015??

Also would be most helpful if you could give me any links on info regarding approx costs of doing a 2 year full time MBA in Europe and USA ..

Thanks!!

Hi Folks,

I had last given my GMAT circa 2008 with a score of 650 (Q 41 V 39).My score has expired since then and i am planing to apply next year to some B schools thus i need to get cracking on the test.

From what i can recall from my last attempt, i struggled big time with Quant and had difficulty taking my verbal score beyond 40 so i do need to work a reasonable amount on these

My target score is 720+ so any guidance keeping this in mind will be helpful.

- I have the current (2013) official guides

- Kaplan GMAT verbal workbook 4th edition from the 2008 days.. guessing i should get the new 7th edition just to be safe

Any other recommended books?

Hi I m tejas ...i m staying in navi mumbai..I have work experience of 5 years in power sector n basically I m an electrical engineer..I m planning to gmat next year...so please suggest me the material required n classes required. ...also suggest the study schedule if possible. .

I started with GMAT prep with OG 2015  but scored pathetic in diagnostic test - below average !! :(

When I started with practice questions from the book I see them very basic ones. I could do PS / DS within 1 min on each ques and 80% accuracy. similarly CR and RC in 1.75 mins as per Gmat timing and with same 80% accuracy (yet to start SC).

Although I started with around 25 to 40 questions in each section, is it so that questions at start are quite basic then as we go on they will be difficult? or whole GMAT practice questions from OG are of similar difficulty level?
