1) How many admission offers have been extended so far? 2)Does applying after a couple of weeks put me at a disadvantage? 3)Details of the information session on 3rd. 4)Mode of interview
Hi, I am going to request you to write to Imran Kanga, [email protected].
When the 'India Students' reach Toronto in August , will they be studying with the students who join the Regular MBA program in the Jan intake or later? And in that case will they and the students from 'MBA in India program' pass-out at the same time? Also will 'India program students' and the students from 20 months full time course do the internship ?
Job-wise, the lack of an internship is a disadvantage, especially if an aspirant wants to change industries and that would put the 'Schulich India MBA students' at a disadvantage.
When the students from the India cohort start in Toronto, they will be doing their elective courses with a mix of students from the part time, full time, and exchange programs, do you will be studying with an extremely diverse group of students. The full time students in you classes could be from the January intake or the September intake.
Students in the India program can still do an internship in India, but for a shorter duration because a) The program length has been shortened. b) Students travel to Toronto in early August to attend a 2 week orientation, which includes seminars specially organized for them to get a better understanding of business in a Canadian and North American context, as well as Career Development workshops which prepare them for the recruitment which starts in the first week of September.
Doing a shorter internship is a small trade off because you are out of the job market for 16 months rather than 20 months, which is the duration of the full time program.
Please feel free to contact me at [email protected] if you have any further questions.

all the best.
