MBA after C.A. & CFA.?

Can any1 suggest some good B-schools abroad proving Mba without Gmat/Toefl on the basis of work exp. ???

P.S: Canada and Australia being preferred choices as they are probably not very costly.

Please suggest asap.

Without GMAT........and good b-school....
I dont think so.....there's any....
Even if there is, u are susceptible to fraud schools.

Hi guys, i am new to forum.

I am a CAT'12 attempt, results awaited (of course).
However, i would like to know from all of you about the preference given for being a CA, by premiere B-Schools, with sources thereof (preferably links).
Please, if any of you could help me out.
And, since i am also CFA Level1 cleared, and Big4 experienced, would like to know, where and in which schools would it help. Since i could not mention CFA level 1 in CAT forms, how can the same be capitalised about. This was my first and hopefully the last attempt at belling the CAT.

Thanking You in advance

BTW, just an interesting article from TOI, outlining the number of CA's giving CAT this year.....it is just 47.

Guys Clearing CFA and FRM both is a good Idea or not. Im writing CFA June 2013 and Planning to write FRM ma 2013. Some say its of no use as they Focus or very different areas. But I wanted to know clearing both of them will Give me any advantage in CV points or no ?
@karan302534 I think u will definitely have an advantage if your CAT score is in range of 90's. I have heard that IIM Banglore generally gives preference to CA's. Stop worrying, the whole picture will be clear after 25 days. Till dat tym prepare for Level-2 of CFA becoz in case u get shortlisted for nxt round u will have very hectic tym ahead.
@cajatin Thanks, ohh is it going to be really hectic post the result?, i thought the same would wind up by the March, thus i 'll have 2 months, which is think should be fine, (with a littel fight for level 2).

why are ppl going mba after doing a lucrative course like ca?

@Tyranitar
though CFA & FRM are focused to different areas the global recognition and the weightage of the certification will surely differentiate your resume. Once you become the charter holder in both courses the industry start recognizing you as an all-rounder. Only thing that u have to consider is whether u can attempt and clear both exams simultaneously?

Because............CA is losing its sheen.....simple

@harrypotter24 CA is perhaps the toughest course to do in India but the curriculam of CA provides knowledge of all areas like audit, law, a/cs but do not focus on any subject. For a person who is not interested in Accounting/Auditing/Taxation, he/she should look for MBA/CFA..

CFA is better to learn finance management.

I asked about Batch to find out: aap konse campus me bethe honge.....Since May2011, ICAI campus placements have been horrible. I am from Nov2011 batch; working in an Indian IT Co (placed @campus).
@sushant1002001 I was in the Feb 2011 palcements, and they were not as great either...anyways, are you enrolled in for CFA Level 2,June 2013 ? Coz i am.

Waiting for CFA L1 results.......
@ Feb11-Mar11 campus:
5375 candidates had registered. 34.9pc got job offers(1876 offers).
1663 accepted.
@ Aug-Sept 2011 campus: 12.23%
@ Feb-Mar 2012 campus: 9% (approx)
@ Aug-Sept 2012 campus: 5 pc (approx)
Compared to freshers like me; aapke time me placement better thaa , bcoz results utne gande tarike se nahi dia gaya thaa.

Is it better to enroll for CFA before starting MBA or once you're in SEM 1?

Dear, its up to you if you are sure that you can do practice for both simultaneously as you need to devote 3-4 hours-a-day for CFA L1 preparation so that you can cover your syllabus one month prior to exam ...if you think that you will be able to do that then you should... well whats your educational background?

Hey..everyone...

I m new on this forum..

I have to ask..
Whether i should start my ca articleship in big4 or in medium size firm...coz i have heard i big4 u dont get training in all the areas..like Taxation ,audit etc..however in medium sixe firm..one directly works under the ca in all areas.

I know this is not the right discussion head..cudnt find a more relevant head..
