Dr. Shalini Talwar is an MBA graduate and holds a PhD. in Management with a cumulative work experience of over 24 years in industry and academia. An acclaimed researcher, Dr. Talwar has published her work in high impact referred journals such as International Journal of Hospitality Management, Journal of Cleaner Production, International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, International Journal of Production Research, and Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services. Her book titled ‘Security Analysis and Portfolio Management’, published by Cengage Learning is offered as a textbook in several management institutes. She also has extensive corporate and faculty training experience, having conducted several MDPs and FDPs for corporates and institutions of repute.

K J Somaiya Institute of Management will host the 1st International Healthcare Management Conference, partnered by Healis Sekhsaria Institute for Public Health, in collaboration with K J Somaiya Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre. It will be conducted in two phases on 9th Jan and 27th Mar 2021. The theme of the conference is 'Future of Healthcare Post COVID-19'.

The theme for Melange '21 'Empowering Digital Transcendence', swirls around global digital transition, withstanding the prevalent pandemic. The theme launch focused on industries of different sectors connecting the physical and digital world by leveraging the potential of digital platforms.
Prof. Isaac Jacob is an industry and academia maestro. He holds an MA in Economics from the University of Mumbai and an MBA from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, where he was awarded as a rank holder.
Prof. Jacob started his career in 1978 as an Advertising Executive for Times of India, and towards the end of his highly decorated industry tenure, he had served at various leadership and influential positions such as a CMO and Country Head (Customer Experience) at Yes Bank, Vice President and Head of Marketing at Tata Mutual Fund, President and CEO at Fortune Communications, Sr. Vice President - SSCB Lintas, to name a few. He has worked in tandem with brands such as Puma, Fevicol, Mercedes-Benz, Lux, Citibank, Tata Motors, Cadburys, Barbie, Smirnoff, among others.
He has conducted brand consultancy and corporate training for Bharat Petroleum, Sony Pix, Saint Gobain Weber, Binani Cement, Insurance Institute of India, Ujala Supreme, Mainland China, Schaeffler Auto Transmissions, Life Insurance Corporation of India, HDFC Life, etc. He has also taught at many B-schools such as JBIMS, IIM Calcutta, IIM Trichy, IIT SOM, NMIMS, SP Jain Global, NITIE, and DHBW University Stuttgart.
