Hi Seniors!

i hv one doubt.I have worked in IT industry for 11 months but now i have resigned and preparing for MBA exams.So my question is: Is it going to effect in the selection process as i am sitting at home and only preparing .Please clear my doubts...

@venkataramanR Can u pls let us know the weightage given to diff parameters like 10th , 12th, work ex, snap score, gd-pi, extra co curricular in giving the final calls to join sibm-pune? the criteria that was followed for 2012-14 batch

it will b helpful to evaluate ourselves

@mavericmonck SIBM Pune offers four specializations - Marketing, Human Resources, Finance and Operations Management.

@Rooney181289 I would sincerely advise you, and all aspirants to just give your best shot in the examination and concentrate on subsequent rounds at a later stage. There is no particular format followed. GD calls are rolled out based on SNAP score. Final calls : SNAP Score+GD+PI. Profiling is usually integrated with the PI process.

It may not be very wise to ask this here but does SIBM Pune & SIIB Pune or anyother Symbiosis institutes for that matter conduct the placements separately each or together as a University?

@vishalnnn Every institute under Symbiosis University is a stand alone entity. From Admissions to academics to placements, all institutes are exclusive.

hey scmhrd need 2 fill achievements.. do they ask 4 proof(certificates ) .... if some one doesnt ve major achievements 2 brag.... den wat shud be filled ... WAT EXACTLY CAN BE FILLED ... seniors do reply 😃

i have registered for SIBM and have payed the fee also.I got the conformation mail for the payment but haven't recieved and mail for registration conformation..

is it alright is i don't get the registration mail...

also do we have to send the forms to the institute as when we hit the submit tab,print option comes which has blanks to fill in the date and put signature..

Please guide ...

I paid 1025 for SIBM pune a week ago but no confirmation yet and the status yet remains UNPAID . how much time does it take for the payment to schedule ???????

@Pakhandi The final merit list for SIBM-P will be out by 19th Feb 2013 and since the GDPI is to be conducted from 2nd-6th Feb 2013[Source : http://oamssnap.blueshiftindia.com/SIBM/DatesToRemember.htm] (By that time only i think they will consider the details in ur application form). So i think with these details u can proceed with ur 'single' status provided your marriage happens after the first week of feb 😉 ;)

could u tell me about the finance placements in sibm pune.. i m not tat much interested in the package but at the profile only..do we get investment banking profiles?? could u temme which company offered this in the previous years?alos is this fron end IB or the back-end? tahnx in advance... 😃
