SMIT Online Entrance Test 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the specified eligibility requirements before applying for the SMIT Online Entrance Test 2025. These criteria include educational qualifications, minimum percentage requirements, and subject eligibility. Refer to the table below for detailed eligibility conditions.

Eligibility Criteria for Qualifying Examinations

BTech (Civil Engineering & Mechanical Engineering):

• Must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent exam with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

BTech (AI & DS, CSE, ECE, EEE, IT):

• Must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent exam with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics and Mathematics (Mandatory) along with any one of the following subjects:
  • Computer Science
  • Electronics
  • Information Technology
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Informatics Practices
  • Biotechnology
  • Technical Vocational subject
  • Engineering Graphics
  • Business Studies
  • Entrepreneurship

Qualifying Examination Requirement

• Candidates applying for UG Engineering admission must have either completed or be appearing for their Class 12 board exams in 2025.

Subject Eligibility

• Candidates who have studied Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at the +2 or Higher Secondary level are eligible for all BTech programs.
