SBI SO Eligibility 2019

To be eligible to apply for the offered posts by SBI SO one should have some educational qualifications, a age limit and some experience in particular fields. For ever post the eligibility a criterion differs as stated here.

Special Management Executive CA/ICWA/ACS/MBA in Finance

OR

2 years PG Diploma in Finance

(correspondence courses or part-time courses are not eligible, and the institute should be recognized or approved by the government bodies or AICTE

Minimum of 40 years and maximum of 50 years Five years of experience as an executive in supervisory or management role in a scheduled commercial bank

OR

An associate subsidiary of a scheduled commercial bank or in a public sector or listed financial institution company

General Deputy Manager (law, contractual) Degree in Law of three or five years from a recognized University of India Minimum 42 years and maximum 52 years Should be enrolled as Advocate with Bar Council and should have a minimum 17 years of experience as Law Officer in the Legal Department of Scheduled Commercial Banks or Financial Institutions or Asset Reconstruction Company

OR

Combined experience as Law Officer in the Legal Department of Scheduled Commercial Bank and Asset Reconstruction Company and having extensive experience in Recovery & Rehabilitation. The experience should be after enrolment as advocate with Bar Council.

Deputy General Manager (law) Degree in Law of three or five years from a recognized University of India

PG degree in law is preferred

Minimum 42 years and maximum 52 years Should be enrolled as Advocate with Bar Council and should have a minimum 17 years of experience as Law Officer in the Legal Department of Scheduled Commercial Banks or Financial Institutions or Asset Reconstruction Company

OR

Combined experience should be as Law Officer in the Legal Department in Commercial Bank and in Asset Reconstruction Company and should have an extensive experience in Rehabilitation. Also, should have an experience as advocate with Bar Council.

Deputy Manager (law) Degree in Law of three or five years from a recognized University of India

PG degree in law is preferred

Minimum of 25 years and maximum of 35 years Applicant should be enrolled as Advocates with Bar Council and should have 4 years of experience as practicing Advocate or Law Officer in Commercial Banks OR

4 years combined experience as practicing advocate or Law Officer in the Legal Department of Scheduled Commercial Banks. Also, should have an experience as advocate with Bar Council.

Candidates who are unable to cover all the eligibility criteria will be considered disqualified and will not be taken into consideration for the interviews. The eligibility criteria ensure that the person who takes the post is well educated about his or her job and can be trusted to carry out the required tasks given to him or her. The higher the post is the more authority is required off the person on the post. He or she should be able to handle their staff and take responsibility for whatever actions that are taken by their subordinates.

The qualifications of the candidate are taken into consideration when being shortlisted. The first step in the selection process for the candidates opting for the special executive officer, general deputy manager (both regular and contractual) is the short listing which is done based on the aspirant’s qualifications.
