    The important stage in the course of getting into the job is knowing about the result. The candidate must check the official website to get to know the announcement of result. Before that CRC will officially release the answer key quite a few days after the exam. There will be four sets of the question. The answer key for all the four sets will be released.  Thus aspirants can calculate their mark before the announcement of result. The result can be viewed on the official website.

    How to view the result

    • Enter into the official website
    • Enter the hall ticket number and Date of Birth.
    • Results will be displayed which can be printed for future use.

    Based on the marks merit list will be prepared. Depending on the merit list the candidates will be shortlisted for the next stage.

    Selection Procedure

    • Applying online.
    • Download the Call letter.
    • Appearing for CBT exam.
    • Based on the result, merit list will be prepared and called for the next level PET & PMT.
    • PMT is not mark based.
    • Depending on the performance in CBT and PMT, candidates will be entering the next phase for document verification.
    • When two candidates hold the same rank in the merit list then depending on the age merit position will be given.
    • The elderly person will hold the top position.
    • After this candidates will be subjected to medical examination in the railway hospitals.
    • Candidate must score B-I as per given in Indian Railway Medical Manual.
    • Candidates coming through all the four stages are sent to training at any of the training center in RPF which will be decided by the railway authority.
    • At the end of training, the trainee must finally clear the final exam at the training center to enter into RPF/RPSF.
    • When selected as traine, the candidate will receive a stipend of Rs 21,700 + allowance in case of constable and Rs 35,400 + allowances in case of Sub Inspector.

    Points to be considered during document verification

          When a candidate is qualified in PET & PMT, he/she should carry the following documents in the proper format as mentioned in the notice released by the RPF. Original as well as duplicate copies which should be self-attested, must be produced during document verification.

    The documents are:

    • For age proof, SSLC/matriculation certificate.
    • For educational qualification proof, SSLC certificate in case of constable posting whereas for SI posting relevant degree certificate from a recognized
    • Caste certificate.
    • For Ex-serviceman, discharge certificate.
    • For government employees serving currently, NOC is mandatory.

    Domicile certificate if applicable.
