MET 2025 Application Form Released
The MET 2025 application form is now available, and candidates can access the application link at manipal.edu. To be considered for admission, candidates must complete and submit the form by the final deadline of March 15, 2025. No applications will be accepted after this date.
Before registering for MET 2025, candidates should review the official eligibility criteria. The MET 2025 admit card will be issued online after candidates complete the slot booking process.
MET 2025 will be conducted as a computer-based test in two phases. Candidates can attempt both phases, and the best score will be considered for admission. The MET 2025 result will be announced online, and all qualified candidates must participate in the counselling process.
What is MET?
The Manipal Entrance Test (MET) is conducted annually by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) to select candidates for admission to its participating campuses. Based on MET scores, candidates can apply for BTech programs offered by:
- Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal
- Manipal University, Jaipur
- Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology
- Manipal Institute of Technology, Bengaluru
MET is a computer-based test (CBT) conducted at various exam centers. The test consists of objective multiple-choice questions (MCQs) that candidates must attempt within the given time frame.
MET 2025 Exam Dates
The MET 2025 exam dates are expected to be announced soon. Candidates are urged to stay updated on the exam schedule to ensure they don’t miss any important events related to the examination or admission process. The MET 2025 application form is currently available online at manipal.edu. Eligible candidates must complete the registration process before the final submission deadline, March 15, 2025. Once the slot booking is complete, the MET 2025 admit card will be accessible to all registered candidates. The MET 2025 will be conducted in two phases as a computer-based test, and candidates can attempt both phases. The results, including scores and ranks, will be available after the exam. The counselling dates for MET 2025 will be announced following the declaration of results.

MET Eligibility 2025
Candidates must meet the following criteria to participate in the MET 2025 admission process:
For BTech Courses:
- Must have completed 10+2, A-Level, IB, American 12th grade, or an equivalent examination.
- Physics, Mathematics, and English must be compulsory subjects.
- One optional subject should be chosen from Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or any technical vocational subject.
- Minimum of 50% marks in total from Physics, Mathematics, and one optional subject.
For Lateral BTech:
- Must have completed a 3-year Diploma in Engineering from the Board of Technical Examination of a State Government or a BSc Degree from a recognized University.
- Minimum of 45% marks in the diploma or BSc course.
- Must have passed 12th standard with Mathematics as a subject.
MET 2025 Application Form
The MET 2025 application form is now available online at manipal.edu. Candidates must complete and submit the application form by the deadline, March 15, 2025, to be eligible for the exam. Before registering for MET 2025, candidates are advised to review the official eligibility criteria. While filling out the application, candidates will need to provide their personal, academic, and contact details. The MET 2025 application fee must be paid online via net banking, credit card, or debit card. Failure to pay the fee will result in ineligibility for MET 2025. Only registered candidates will be able to access the MET 2025 admit card.

How to Fill Out the MET 2025 Application Form
The MET 2025 application form is now available online at manipal.edu. Candidates can follow the steps below to complete the application:
Step 1: Registration
Visit the official website manipal.edu and click on the registration link. Provide basic details such as your email address and phone number, and create a password for future logins.
Step 2: Filling Out the Application Form
Complete the application form by entering your personal, academic, and contact details. Key information required includes your name, gender, date of birth, nationality, parent’s name, and address. Ensure all information is accurate and matches your official documents.
Step 3: Course Selection
After filling out the details, input your 12th standard qualifying exam information. Choose your preferred programme, stream, course, and test centre.
Step 4: Correction of Information
Review the information you’ve entered. If necessary, make corrections at this stage. No changes can be made once you move past this step.
Step 5: Payment of Application Fee
Pay the application fee online using net banking, credit card, debit card, cash card, mobile payments, PayTM, or UPI. No other payment methods will be accepted.
Step 6: Uploading Documents
Upload the required scanned documents, including a passport-size photograph and signature. Ensure the documents meet the specifications provided by the authorities.
Step 7: Submission of Application Form
Finally, submit the MET 2025 application form before the deadline. Applications will not be accepted after the final date. Be sure to take a printout of the completed application form for future reference.
MET 2025 Application Fee
Candidates must pay the MET 2025 application fee in order to complete their registration for the exam and admission process. The payment can only be made online via net banking, credit card, debit card, cash card, mobile payment, PayTM, or UPI. Other payment methods will not be accepted. Candidates who fail to make the payment before the deadline will not be permitted to take the exam.

MET Exam Pattern 2025
The MET exam is administered as a center-based online test. It consists of a question paper with 60 questions covering subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, and General Aptitude. Candidates are allotted a duration of 120 minutes to complete the exam.
The MET Question Paper is provided in English medium. The questions are of objective nature, which means they are multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and also include Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions. Candidates must select the correct or the closest-to-correct answer from the options given.

Additional Details about the MET Paper Pattern:
- Rough sheets will be provided to candidates during the test, which must be returned upon completing the exam.
- Upon finishing the test, the final score will be displayed on the screen instantly.
- Candidates can verify their test score online, 24 hours after completing the test.
- In the case of multiple attempts by a candidate, the merit list will consider the best score achieved.
MET 2025 Syllabus
The syllabus for MET 2024 is determined by the coordinating body, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), and it varies for each subject.
For B.Tech, the MET 2024 Syllabus includes topics from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. The syllabus is designed based on the curriculum covered at the 10+2 level, which aligns with the major 10+2 Boards/Universities’ standards.
MET 2024 B.Tech Syllabus
Physics Syllabus: The topics covered in the Physics section of MET 2024 include Measurement, Kinematics, Force and Motion, Work and Energy, Rotational Motion and Rigid Body, Gravitation, Properties of Matter, Heat and Thermodynamics, Oscillations and Waves, Electrostatics, Current Electricity and Magnetism, Electromagnetic Waves, Optics, Modern Physics, Electronic Devices, Communication Systems, and Experimental Skills.
Chemistry Syllabus: The Chemistry section of MET 2024 comprises three main areas: Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry.
Mathematics Syllabus: In the Mathematics section, the MET 2024 syllabus covers topics like Partial Functions, Logarithms, Mathematical Induction, Binomial Theorem, Analytical Geometry, Limits and Continuity, Trigonometry, Vectors, Circles, Differentiation, Integration, and Probability.
General English Syllabus: The General English section includes questions on spotting errors, vocabulary, and sentence improvement.
MET 2025 Admit Card
The MET 2025 Admit card or e-hall ticket can be obtained by downloading it exclusively from the official website at manipal.edu. To access the admit card, candidates must complete their MET 2024 Slot Booking through the Online Test Slot Booking System (OTBS). The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) schedules the online slot booking process two weeks before the exam date. Once the candidate successfully completes the MET Slot Booking, they will be able to download their MET 2024 Admit Card from the official website.
How to Download MET 2024 Admit Card?
To download the MET 2024 Admit Card, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to the official MET website at manipal.edu Step 2: Enter the MET Application Number and the Password that was emailed to your registered ID during the application process. Step 3: Click on the ‘Login’ button. Step 4: Verify the details on the hall ticket and then proceed to download it. Step 5: Save the admit card for future reference and correspondence.

Essential Documents to Bring at MET Exam Center:
- Two printed copies of the e-Hall ticket.

MET 2025 Result
The Results of MET 2024 will be published on the official website by the controller of Examinations at MAHE. It is advisable to keep printed copies of the result for the Counselling and admission process.
To download the MET 2024 result, follow these steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of MAHE. Step 2: Click on the link for ‘MET 2024 Results.’ Step 3: Enter your application number and password. Step 4: Click on the ‘Submit’ button. Step 5: The MET results will be displayed on the screen. Download and save it for future reference.
Note: For the MBBS Program, NEET Scores will be considered, and MBA admissions will be based on XAT, MAT, CMAT, and CAT Scores.
MET 2025 Counselling
Candidates who meet the minimum cutoff mark and fulfill the eligibility criteria will be invited for the MET 2024 counseling process. Below is the basic procedure followed during MET 2024 counseling:
- Registration: Candidates must start by filling the registration form on the official website to participate in the counseling process.
- Documents Verification: Next, candidates need to have their original documents verified, along with providing one set of self-attested photocopies of these documents.
- Seat Allotment: Seats will be allotted based on the candidates’ ranks and the availability of seats, as well as the choices they have filled during the counseling process.
- Counseling Fee: Candidates must pay the course fees through a Demand Draft (DD) or produce confirmation of RTGS payment and collect the provisional admission letter.
- Waitlist: A waitlist will be published for candidates who wish to change their allotted seat. A second round of counseling will be conducted for those who were not allotted seats in the first round.
- Filling/Modifying Filled Choices: In this step, candidates can fill or modify their preferred choices and their order of preference by logging into their portal. It is advisable to take a printout of the modified or filled locked choices.
- Report to Allotted Colleges: Finally, candidates are required to report to the college they have been allotted as per the dates mentioned in the provisional admission letter.

MET 2025 Cut off
The Manipal Academy of Higher Education sets a minimum cut-off mark for the entrance exam, which candidates must achieve to qualify for the examination. The B.Arch program admissions will be conducted through the NATA exam conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA).
For Medical (MBBS, MD/MS/PG Diploma/Super Speciality) and Dental (BDS/MDS) programs, admissions will be based on the NEET examination, and counseling will be overseen by DGHS/MCI.
International candidates will be admitted based on their merit in the qualifying examination.
