KEAM Eligibility Criteria 2025 - Academic Qualification and Age Limit

KEAM 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements to apply for KEAM 2025:

Age Requirement

  • Applicants must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2025.
  • There is no upper age limit for KEAM 2025.
  • No relaxation is provided in the minimum age requirement.

Nationality Criteria

  • Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
  • Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) will be considered at par with Indian citizens but cannot claim reservations.
  • Indian citizens are categorized as Keralites and Non-Keralites for admission purposes.

Educational Qualifications

The course-wise eligibility criteria for KEAM 2025 are as follows:

Course Educational Qualification
Engineering (BTech, Ag. Engg., Food Engg., Dairy Science & Technology) Passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as an optional subject. Candidates must have at least 45% aggregate marks in these subjects.
Pharmacy (BPharm) Passed 10+2 with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology as optional subjects.
Architecture (BArch) Passed 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics OR Passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
Medical & Allied Courses MBBS, BDS: Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English, securing at least 50% aggregate marks in PCB/Biotechnology.
BAMS, BHMS Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, with at least 50% aggregate marks in PCB.
BSMS Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, securing at least 50% aggregate marks in PCB.
BUMS Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, with at least 50% aggregate marks in PCB.
Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries & Allied Courses (BSc Agri, BSc Forestry, BSc Co-operation & Banking, BTech Biotechnology, BFSc) Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, with at least 50% aggregate marks in PCB.
BSc (Hons) Climate Change & Environmental Science Passed 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, securing at least 50% aggregate marks in these subjects.
Veterinary Science (BVSc & AH) Passed 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, with at least 50% aggregate marks in these subjects.

Marks Relaxation

  • Candidates belonging to socially and economically backward classes receive a 5% relaxation in the minimum marks required in the qualifying examination.
