KCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has outlined the KCET 2025 eligibility criteria on its official website. Candidates seeking admission through KCET 2025 must review the eligibility requirements before applying. The eligibility criteria for different courses are detailed in the table below:

Course Eligibility Criteria
BArch Must have passed 2nd PUC / Class 12 / equivalent exam with English as a subject and secured at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, along with an aggregate of 50% in all subjects (45% for reserved category).
BE/BTech Must have passed 2nd PUC / Class 12 / equivalent exam with English as a subject and obtained a minimum of 45% aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science (40% for reserved category).
Farm Science Courses (BSc (Hons) Agriculture, BSc (Hons) Sericulture, BSc (Hons) Horticulture, BSc (Hons) Forestry, BTech Biotechnology, BSc (Hons) Community Science, BTech Agricultural Engineering, BTech Food Technology, BTech Dairy Technology, BFSc Fisheries, BSc (Hons) Agricultural Marketing & Co-operation) Must have passed 2nd PUC / Class 12 / equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology as optional subjects.
BVSc & AH (Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry) Must have passed 2nd PUC / Class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English (40% for reserved category).
BPharma Must have passed 2nd PUC / Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with at least 45% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (40% for reserved category) OR Must have passed a Diploma in Pharmacy from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, securing a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category).
2nd Year BPharma (Lateral Entry) Must have passed a Diploma in Pharmacy from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category).
DPharma Must have passed 2nd PUC / Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics OR Must have completed a Diploma in Pharmacy from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India.
Naturopathy & Yoga Must have passed the qualifying exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects and English as a language of study, securing at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (40% for reserved category).
