GCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

It is critical to take note of the GCET 2023 Eligibility Criteria, and each candidate should compare their criteria to the official eligibility. This will help them determine whether or not they are eligible to take the exam. Not every candidate is given the chance to take the exam and compete for a spot in some of Goa’s most prestigious colleges and universities. As a result, aspirants who want to be considered for the position must meet all of the eligibility requirements.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Bachelor in Engineering courses

The candidates must have successfully cleared the class 10+2 examination from a recognized and approved institution. All the candidates are also required to have a compulsory subject combination comprising – Physics, Mathematics and English. The additional subjects may consist of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/Biology/ Computer Science. Candidates should have scored a minimum of 45% marks in their board exams. Candidates belonging to the Reserved categories need to have 40% marks.

Bachelor in Architecture

The candidates must have successfully cleared the class 10+2 examination from a recognized and approved institution. All the candidates are also required to have a subject combination comprising Mathematics as the compulsory subject. The general category candidates will need to have 50% minimum aggregate marks. Candidates of the reserved categories will need 45% aggregate marks.

Bachelor in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery

All the candidates are also required to have a subject combination comprising Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects. The candidates must have successfully cleared the class 10+2 examination from a recognized and approved institution. The candidate must have secured 50% marks in aggregate and the reserved categories of the student will need 45%.

B. Sc. in Nursing

All the candidates are also required to have a subject combination of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects. The candidates will also be required to have at least 45% minimum marks in their board examination and the candidates of the reserved categories will need 40%.
